We need your help to keep nature clean and pristine for others to enjoy. You will be given a reusable trash bag to collect your rubbish during Fjällräven Classic UK.

Once you reach the finish at Glenmore Lodge, you can weigh your trash bag before disposing of its contents. In return, you’ll receive a ticket for the prize draw on Saturday, where you could win some great prizes from Fjällräven and our partners.

Thanks for keeping the trail clean!

A breach of the littering rules will result in immediate disqualification from Fjällräven Classic UK and you’ll be prohibited from participation in any future Fjällräven events.

When nature calls

Human waste is another matter. This should not go into the trash bag. There are several no-water toilets at most checkpoints and overnight halts along the route. The second half of the route, including the overnight halt at Corrour and the path through the Lairig Ghru to Glenmore, can only be accessed on foot. Therefore, you will be given a Go Anywhere toilet bag at White Bridge for this section of the trek.

Please follow the instructions carefully and use the shelters at Corrour and the Rothiemurchus Lodge checkpoint. If nature calls when you’re far from a toilet, dig a small hole, relieve yourself and cover the hole with earth. Please take any used toilet paper with you and never relieve yourself in or within 30 metres of water.
